Her big announcement about how the parish is preparing for the storm, DPW has been going out picking up debris that could clog drainage. Also asks citizens to report any clogs they see.
Well thank goodness she is on the job.

It's not the worst idea.

Have they performed the inspections for hose pipes sticking out of catch basin yet?

Hope they pick up all the hoses that the white man used to flood the good citizens of north br last august.

They actually think they can clean out the canals in one day? This should have been done months ago. Terrible leadership by the mayor

Chauna Banks is already scheming to see how she can get the city to pay for any residential flood damage.
She's already tried to say that the city was responsible for flood damage because a trashcan, provided by the city to a resident, fell in a ditch and caused a backup.

Did you want her to order a mandatory evacuation?

Something is clogging up the Mayor/El Presidente's office.

also, not to worry elderly folks of BR! The COA will be "volunteering" throughout the storm and aftermath.

They've always been there. It was part of the original sewer plans from the 50's. Sort of a "self destruct" mechanism.
I've seen the secret flood control room. Very impressive.
