Her big announcement about how the parish is preparing for the storm, DPW has been going out picking up debris that could clog drainage. Also asks citizens to report any clogs they see.

Well thank goodness she is on the job.

Chauna Banks is already scheming to see how she can get the city to pay for any residential flood damage.


She's already tried to say that the city was responsible for flood damage because a trashcan, provided by the city to a resident, fell in a ditch and caused a backup.

They've always been there. It was part of the original sewer plans from the 50's. Sort of a "self destruct" mechanism.

I've seen the secret flood control room. Very impressive.
