100% false, Louisiana had a qualified teacher shortage BEFORE the pandemic as well and it has gotten worse as teachers have either quit, retired, or found other avenues of work
There was indeed a shortage in recent years. It's certainly nothing like the dramatic problems that we have this year in finding people to work. Last year, my own school started the school year with a full faculty.
This year, my school is short three math teachers. The 6th-grade position we were able to distribute the kids to other 6th-grade math teachers and just have big classes, and the resource (special ed) class we can deal with another way, but the missing 7th-grade position meant that 100 students started the year without a year and were basically just being babysat in other classrooms. Fortunately, we finally convinced a teacher who retired last year to come back until we can find someone else for that position.

How can you be highly effective if you’re not willing to be vaccinated to protect your students?
Because the students don’t need protecting.
Next question?

The odds of some large side effect that wouldve negatively attacked you is probably alot less from the vaccine than it would be had you caught covid
How can you possibly say that with any confidence?
And I’m not against vaccines or even this vaccine

Just the teacher unions trying to bog down the entire operation like they always do
Won’t matter if the parents and my students don’t do same thing

Good thing the students cant pass it on to those who do need to be protected

They actually don’t. Study after study show that kids carry such a small viral load that they are terrible vectors of transmission.

Please link these studies

Less true for delta
But masks are still a waste of time

I'm not pro-vax but the list of every day items humans freely consume that have no FDA approval is as long as Santa's Naughty List.
Is your employer forcing you to ingest those items as well?
Your comparison is shite.

Everything ive read the last few weeks about it says kids spread it at the same rates or close to the same rates as adults

In general viral load is proportional to symptoms
With OG covid kids generally werent symptomatic at all
With delta a lot are getting a cold
Bottom line if your kid has a cold keep them home, ya know, just like you always should have done for the last 100 years

Yep. We have had a handful of staff recently at work that got it from their kids who got it at school.
Maybe the first original strain wasn’t spread easily by children, but since the delta variant is much more contagious….makes sense kids can easily spread it.

It's past time the herd get thinned out, by a lot. We have held Darwin back from people like you for far too long, and this is where it has gotten us.

It just boggles my mind that they can do this with a non-FDA approved gene therapy that in 2017 was a complete failure and moderna was at the forefront of failing spectacularly. So much so that their initial testing caused cancer in almost ALL of the rats they were testing on
Fixed it for you.
