Central. Been off since 5pm.
Entergy sent a text stating it wouldn’t be restored until 2pm TOMORROW.
Gonna be a long, hot, miserable night.

I'm by LSU. Original report said power would be back by 6:30. New report says 2 tomorrow.

Yea I got the same thing.
I called my brother in law (who works for Entergy) and he didn’t know how accurate that was.
Must be a mass text they sent everyone with a worse case scenario estimate for all outages.

Y’all can keep up with that info on the Entergy outage map. It is usually
accurate in my experience.

They use the worst case scenario to set expectations low. Usually it is fixed before then.

2381 still without power in EBR according to the app. That’s down from 5400 a few hours ago.

Oak Hills here. Power off 4:30 to 6:30. One of Entergy's robocalls said it would be off until tomorrow at 2PM, but I guess that was an error.

We went through the same thing yesterday, lightning took out a phase and a 1/3rd of the town was without power for over an hour. I feel for you.
