It’s a swamp basin for crying out loud. No one should be building homes in a natural swamp basin.
Could the same debate be made about the great Mississippi flood delta? Using same logic no one should be able to inhabit the middle portion of the US especially the entire state of Louisiana.

Political, no standing will be overturned. Did you all not read my prior post saying that this is exactly what would happen. Mitchell Ourso will put the Aqua Dams up, EBR judge be damned. Up for re-election, no "P AXXT" judge is going to interfere. Contempt be damned. Anyone can get an injunction! What's the judge going to do, send Mitchell to jail? You boogs need to get a life! And futhermore who in this life is currently following the rule of law or any law at all? Jeffery Epstein, Harvey Wienstein ring a bell.
Isn't this the same a-hole that wouldn't support a new bridge over the river unless it was way down in Bayou Goula?

Is...is he saying that EBR is the drainage basin instead of Iberville?

Of course

St George, we are holding Sid in reserve in case “they” bring up reinforcements over on the ferry.
We won’t let them use our bridges and Ascension won’t let them use the Sunshine.
We are cutting their lines of reinforcement.

We gonna see fireworks on the parish line today?

Could
Bottle rockets could melt that plastic, so could Roman candles. Several strings of Black Cats could blow a nice hole that would be hard to patch and so could a few well placed Cherry Bombs.
After the 4th you can get a lot of fireworks cheap.

Yes, anyone with log lighters?
We could use a little more help.
Come on down.

We must be neighbors because I see his posts all the time. I’ve gotten into it with him a couple of times and it just isn’t worth it. The old man is delusional.

Again I do not know much.
Could an argument be made that the water has a chance to go down a natural Bayou which is Manchac. He is not blocking Bayou Manchac which is where the water has to go to move toward the Amite River.
He is only keeping the water in Bayou Manchac from overflowing into his parish.
The water has a way out which is Bayou Manchac.
FYI off topic. Do miss Old Scaliat fishing days in the late 70’s and 80’s. Come home for Xmas to visit and we would make a short run to Spanish lake catching small bass and scaliat on the coldest, nastiest, and windiest day.

Except that the overflow is a natural occurrence and the aquadam is artificially diverting that natural occurrence to the demise of other’s property.

You notice how our attorney of the thread, Antonio Moss, hasn’t responded or provided any legal arguement. All he said was I was wrong, just like you did. That’s pretty funny to me.
Wade Wilson pretty much did the same thing as you two except he stated that one parish couldn’t sue the other for natural flooding. EBR just did what he claims cannot be done.
Wait till Monday.
Mr. Moss, what’s the difference between an aqua dam and a sand bag?

You’re wrong because you can’t be held liable for engaging in legal civil process. EBR engaged in a legal civil process by seeking the injunction though the court system. Any suit against EBR for receiving the injunction will be immediately dismissed.
Any other questions?

If I sandbagged a drainage pond in my neighborhood such that it caused by neighbors’ homes to flood, I could be held legally responsible.

I don’t know much either, but isn’t Alligator Bayou the natural water way draining Spanish Lake?
Isn’t this part of the equation?
I think it very complicated and like you I have no idea about the legalities of the situation. MO may be correct. We may see in time.
