Didn't they 'donate' a big chunk of change before to get 24 hour drinking?

Sounds like another suitcase is in order

Don't think BR casinos have 24 hour drinking. They shut it down 2-6 AM.

That's why I said Laburge. I'm not up to speed on how the boats have to follow a smoking ban. If they don't have enforce it, why would they move to the other side?

They'd move to the other side so they can allow smoking.

Well it's been a good while since I was still in one at 2 AM, they definitely used to cut it off.

I don't think relocating a floating casino to port Allen would make up for money lost in smoking patrons. It wouldn't even be able to go close to the base of the bridge due to the port being located there

Harrah's in NOLA has seen an increase in revenue since the NOLA ban...

Even if true, this isn't relevant.

One of my friends lives on river road a few miles down from the casino. When he gets home from the bars at 2, he rides his 4 wheeler to the casino to keep drinking

I will enjoy the result even though I don't agree with it.

Yea because that 'boat' that's entirely on land is going to float over to the other side. Lol

It's basically freds and uncle earls but with gambling.

My gf had to drag us out last time at 4:30am when they were just bringing trays of Jaeger like it was nothing

Moving the casinos across the river is a pretty ridiculous idea, considering everything other than the gaming floors is on land. That's tens of millions of dollars of building space, before even dealing with permitting and gaming licenses.

A view from the water is funny when people call it a boat.

It's a building on a barge with a moat around it.
