Then go check your cabinets for a dead one, because there's no rat in this story.
It's a classic example of seemingly related events having nothing to do with each other. This kind of thing happens all the time with these events because, as new information comes in, it's just as quickly releases before anyone verifies that the two are actually connected.

Vast majority of CBP dogs are narcotics detection trained and RARELY explosives detection trained.

Get mad more.

I think it was said it crossed at one point but not by the suspect.

I read somewhere that the truck may have been rented out privately to others at times using some service or app.

The truck used in the attack that killed at least 10 people in New Orleans on New Year’s Day was listed on the car rental site Turo, the vehicle’s owner told CNN in a text message. Two federal law enforcement officials also told CNN the truck did not belong to the suspect. One of the sources added it was rented on a site that owners use to rent out their own cars.
The vehicle, a white Ford F-150 Lightning electric truck, is registered to a Houston man who has worked for the car dealership where the vehicle was sold, according to public records based on the vehicle’s license plate. The man told CNN the vehicle was listed on Turo, a website that allows owners to rent out their vehicles to other people. He did not answer additional questions about the renter or the truck. One of the man’s listings on Turo is for a truck that matches the one used in the attack, although photos on the Turo page only have a temporary license plate and don’t show the same plate as the one in New Orleans.
The car was a rental per CNN. Eagle pass info is irrelevant.

Eagle Pass has one of the biggest if not the biggest BP agent populations in the country.
Isn’t that the reason for the BP’s presence in or around Uvalde the day of school shooting (and other days as well)?

He being the terrorist? Probably not.

Just my opinion based on what I have read and seen.
The Eagle Pass connection is just a coincidence with the truck and doubtful it has anything to do with the Nola killer.
This guy has been to Nola more than just a few times. This was his targeted destination because he knew the area.
I doubt he is connected to any terrorist cell, groups, or others involved in a deeper plot. Most likely the guy is in financial trouble, saw no way out and the people celebrating New Years and having fun irked him as his life was in the dumps.
The 3 am time was chosen because it was seen as a weak security time and fewer alert good semaritans that would stop him.

How many people have to tell you the Eagle Pass aspect has been debunked
repeatedly for some time
Someone paged me when Tiger Fred has a take on this he's the only one I trust when this type of shite is going on

It’s also the reason many come to a discussion board like this to discuss major events. Trying to get info from different sources and discuss as facts come out.
Some just like to nit pick on initial theories or reports posted including some based on accurate but incomplete data like the truck crossing the border for political reasons.
