e-mail signature?

Better to include it than not

Even if they have my info, it’s still there again if they need it

I do since it contains some contact info that they can't easily deduce from the e-mail alone.

I love how managers set policy of not using pictures or backgrounds in signatures or email and they are the ones who send that in their emails.

I include mine.

Mine is in there, but it's a standard e-mail signature that all of us in the division use.

If I was creating my own from scratch, I probably wouldn't include it. Or the fax number... no one ever faxes me anything.

I have my work address, work email, work phone, etc on all work emails.

To this day, I am still annoyed that someone was pissy with me because they saw an email by me and didn't see my phone number in the corporate directory.

When is something resolved in the first email? With our email system as forwards continue on the person you are trying to reach back to isn't always included.

Additionally, someone can trim off parts of an email for brevity... etc....

Having it does zero harm and can save time/allow members from different organizations to contact each other.

Not having it...? Benefits nothing.

I was referencing that people trim down email chains, or trim out pieces that they don't deem necessary or beneficial to the overall picture being painted. That was an example where the email of someone you need to respond to could be lost. While I understand you dislike as u think it looks stupid, it still proves to be beneficial, often.

Nope. And I hide my phone number too sometimes depending.
