Congrats on your career. Im not contesting you and the need to wear headgear. I wore it also. But ive sat in rooms with 8 freaking gold medal winning Olympians and some guys wear it like a badge.

I know an MMA fighter who's ear swelled up after a fight and he'd drain it with a syringe and continued to drain it until it didn't swell any more but if it got hit again, he had to do it again. He finally went to an ENT and he cut/drained and stitched it and there was no more problems.
