Was an insider in Iowa, now I live in Texas and for the most part stay out of day to day politics. It just isn't enjoyable anymore.
I was on the original team for several start-ups and ventures, one of which was VisionAire we were bringing to market a single-engine all composite Jet. It failed a long, long time ago.

As a short-term side hustle yes. I still am a licensed (Series 79) Investment Banker and have a few other things going on. 1) Investment banking (M&A side) is all but dead right now. 2) It is at night, all I give up is sleep and even that is a few hours net sleep. 3) It is something to do. I can only take so many on-live classes though the Harvard Program ( Harvard Free Courses), go to the range so often (next trip Saturday), and am really tired of drinking at home. I am bored and out of that boredom responded to a radio as at Amazon. Judge as much as you want, each two weeks I am there is a new "free" rifle. All I am trading, again, is sleep. Why not?

For some items it warns you that it won’t be shipped until a much later date due to amazon prioritizing essential items. I ordered some toy my daughter wanted and didn’t care if it was telling me it would ship 2 weeks from now. Showed up 2 days later.

I don't know about "stopped", but seriously delayed on some items.
I ordered 5 items in the same order. 4 were considered "essentials" and I received within 3-4 business days (earlier this month). The 5th item, an IPad keyboard and cover, was considered "non-essential", and I will not receive it until 5/3/20.
I guess it's parsing words, but I would consider them not shipping my IPad keyboard "stopped shipping", until 5/3/20.

Not judging just seeing how bad the downturn hit you. Good on you for working 2+ jobs. The only people with that type of work ethic these days are Mexicans.

Gotch ya. The down turn sucks yes, but the Amazon thing is more defensive and out of boredom. While not completely independently wealthy I don't have to do it. I am because I couldn't find an answer as to why not except for sleep which isn't good enough.

But, just saying, life is short. Yes, it is nice to earn some extra coin on the side but, my opinion, sleep and hobbies are worth it. You sound like you are not actively pursuing a romantic relationship, in that case, I would be doing something I like to do; that brings me joy to life. If that is working a late shift for you then great. But I would be doing something much different and definitely not using my sleep time towards a second job (if I didn’t need to do it for financial purposes).
You do you though baw.

Have them, this time of year there aren't many I do though. Range day Saturday. I will spend probably 6 or 8 hours working everything from my SR-15 from Knights Armament to both my 30.06 and 7MM mag and my hand guns. I will come home with a sore shoulder but will be well practiced, likely over 5,000 round down range.
