Anybody else listened to the audiobooks of this series? It's freaking hilarious.

It's about a guy that survives the instantaneous collapse of everything humans ever built along with his cat, Princess Donut, only to have a timer appear and a door into an underground worldwide dungeon.

Yes. It's that stupid. And awesome.

Are you up to date on the series so far? Jeff Hayes is an incredible voice actor.

Yes, in books.
There’s a thread.

I'm about 2/3 through the book. Enjoying it so far. You may get more legit responses on the Books board. Also, there may be a thread already.

Yeah I've got them all. Going through them a second time now. Getting more on the second crawl than I did the first time because there's so much going on constantly.

Definitely is/was a thread on Books board. Now that this has made it to the OT, I may finally have to give it a try.

It didn't look like something I was going to love but my lord was I wrong about that.

I wrote it off as something silly and refused to give it a shot for a long time. It’s one of my favorite series now.

Absolutely. This series is definitely better via the audiobook.

Currently on book six. It just gets more ridiculous and more hilarious. There are a few moments interspersed that hit you in the feels. The narrator is one of the best I’ve heard. Great series.

I can't think of anything I ever read or listened to as an audiobook that was more fun. And I'm an old man. The one liners actually will spit take you every now and then.

Donut saying shite like "Oh honey, you stuck your pecker in the wrong beehive!" Pony screaming always cracks me up. Mongo is hilarious, especially when he meets the other velociraptors. Donut's reaction to that had me in tears.

If you’ve not tried it, “he who fights monsters” is pretty good but goes downhill after the first several books, the author clearly hates God and his lead has a good deal of hypocrisy going on but I’d still recommend the first 3 or four books. After that he runs out of creative ideas

I never watched, read, or listened to a piece media (TV, movies, etc) more than once. With that said, I just finished a 3rd listen through of the 7 audiobook series.

I have never found content that has grabbed my attention even remotely as close to the way DCC has.

I’m friends with the author. One of the nicest guys in the business. Very happy for all his success.
