I have a friend who told me about a patient of his named Nosmoking… as in the no smoking sign in hospital delivery rooms.

Another friend told me about a student of theirs named Jkmno… pronounced like Noel.

Went to school with a guy who's first name was Starman but he went by his middle name Neon. Word was his parent's were big hippies. He was cool, pretty good basketball player.

IRL or do names I see from stories online count?

I remember one story about a Karen calling out an airline steward for laughing at her kid's name. Her kid's name was literally "Abcde" and I thought "well yeah if you don't want your kid to be made fun of for their name, don't just write down the first 5 letters of the alphabet"

Seriously some of these names people give their kids should be considered child abuse for setting them up to be bullied. Even the DMV reviews personalized license plates, there should be consideration for naming kids as well, they have to carry that with them their whole lives, or at least until they're old enough to legally change it themselves which is after their classmates have already given them hell their whole childhood. I know other countries have some kind of board review or laws around naming kids, not sure how that would fly in America in today's social climate
