Gene Shalit from the Today show. My mom said when he came on I would hide my eyes and start saying the fuzzy faced man was going to get me.

I always thought that if you didn't turn off a video before the credits were over, the VCR would break and the video would be destroyed.

But really, that clown from Stephen King's "It" was creepy as hell to me as a kid.

Vampires. But I think that's mostly because my uncle would dress up like a vampire and sneak into my room at night to scare me.

I saw Goodfellas around age 8 or 9 (older brothers). That stabbing scene in the opening haunted me for a while. I was absolutely convinced mobsters we're going to attack me at any point. I was also convinced they were hiding in my closet, ready to jump out and kill me.
