There are a lot of YouTube videos dedicated to how boring Iowa is to drive across.

Realized this when searching for the Corn video. What's more boring than driving across Iowa? Watching videos about driving across Iowa.

Drove from Texarkana to Birmingham on one leg of my drive a couple of weeks ago, and Arkansas was pretty damn brutal as was 78/I22 from Memphis to Birmingham. The worst though is Oklahoma. I drove from South Ga to Muscogee and thought to myself I can see how there could be a tornado that causes no damage because there ain't shite here.

I-95 in Maine is brutal...the worst and most boring and it's not even close.

It makes Jackson to Memphis I-55 seem like "It's A Small World" ride at Disney.

So you spent an hour driving from the state line to Muskogee and deem it the worst state?

When you have to stop on west Monroe to pick up supplies for the shutdown then go to a plant meeting in Valliant OK and then onto Muscogee yea it is pretty brutal.

Dullest: Omaha to Denver in night time. It is so straight for hours you can get sleepy

Worst: I-26 from Columbia to Charleston. A death trap.

Highway 93 North to South in Nevada. Loneliest and deadliest stretch of highway in America.

Figured an OTR guy would back me up on that. I went from LA to El Paso non-stop a few months back. That was a pretty shitty ride.

I have no idea how big trucks make it up the mountains going into California. That stretch coming in from Vegas is like a 10 mile section uphill, and the part between San Diego and AZ is like a 15% grade

In Louisiana I-49 from Lafayette to Shreveport is awful. Did Phoenix from Dallas once and that was awful. Make sure your tires are in good shape and radiator has coolant because there isn't shite for several 100 mile intervals

You guys don't like open prairies and rolling hills?

With wonderful earthen colors?

What's wrong with you.

Too much forest is boring.

I love the open road.

I'll be driving through KS, OK, and NE tomorrow.

And I'm going to LOVE it.

Nebraska or the southern half of New Mexico.

Missouri is boring as Hell too once you leave St. Louis headed west.

Some spots even caught me off guard. That ride between Southern California and El Paso fricking sucked though. No trees or water for the whole ride
