Said it after Marquette game, that this was a poorly coached team.
It's just that simple. He can beat the lesser teams but looks totally lost against the good ones.
The point is that it does not require reading a defense and throwing to an open receiver.
Against Florida, Harris hit two lucky long passes that if incomplete would have brought his passing yardage way down. Yet people point to that game as his best, but those passes required no reading of a defense just like the fade in the end zone that we always go to. The fact is that the kid has not been taught or can not learn how to read defenses.
We are all assuming we will be able to run at will on TT. We have seen that if a team sells all out they can at least slow down the running attack.. If I'm TT I make us throw the ball just to see if we can.
I would be pleased if I would see improvement though the season. The wins would take care of themselves.
Most people will not tell you this but most people were unimpressed with the Saban hire at the time. Amazing how people recollect it as a great hire at the then.

Seem to me that either our players don't learn or our coaches do not teach basic fundamentals in either football or basketball. Are they not paid enough?
Hears what I like to guage a team on, does that team get better as the year goes on? I see teams make mistakes all the time but LSU seems to make the same mistakes game after game and year after year. Can you blame that on coaching?

Kentucky gets a top rated freshman class and LSU gets a top rated freshman class. Guess who can coach them better?
He didn't regress, he was no good at first and no good at the end. He just played easy teams at first.
Good grief, if he was hurt why would you continue to let him play? Face it he is a bad QB.
He had respect last night. As a man not as a coach!!

I watched college football from way back. I am amused by the people who now say it was a great hire then.
What tools does he have? Especially the most important one his ability to lead or use his head.

This team will get better and make ncaa tournament but that's it. After that coaching makes the difference. Ha almost sounds like our football team.
