Justine might disagree with that sentiment.
My whole point is enabling a mob to ruin someone's life because others say its ok is not enabling freedom. We have a process in place for those that need to be punished, granted it often is broken. Anything outside of that is mob justice or vigilantism, or whatever you want to call it. Anyone taking advantage of this doctor is just as guilty as she is, but I have heard at best muted response to the actions of 4chan.

I doubt there are many here that believe this is acceptable behavior, so you are mostly preaching to the choir. The fate of her career is up to her employer, and she settled with the uber driver out of court. People should be satisfied with those consequences and not pursue to try to ruin her credit, life, etc.

What they (the militia) were doing was not illegal. Clearly what 4chan/Reddit were doing is illegal. There's a big difference.

That may be their opinion, but their mentality of brandishing extralegal punishment to right a wrong is strikingly similar, even if they refuse to admit it.

Those working to destroy her are no better than she was when she was acting like an idiot (probably on the verge of blacking out). It's a sad reflection on humanity that so many people work to publicly humiliate someone just because they saw a video online. It had no impact on them personally, the car can be fixed, she can go to counceling and pay her fines/damages, and life goes on. Yet these sad fricks would rather totally derail the life of someone over a drunken stupor.

Is there any evidence that her identity has been stolen? Does 4chan have her SS#?
Also I highly highly doubt that Reddit has done anything outside of legal bounds. Reddit takes doxxing pretty seriously. There's not much that you can get banned for on Reddit. Doxxing is one of those things.

Maybe I'm sane, but I like chicks with a wild side. They aren't ever boring and can frick like the dickens. She gets better looking every time I see her pictures. Personality is a big factor in my book, and hers is sexy

I agree that people should be content with whatever her employer/ the police/ the uber driver decides to do.

Is there any doubt as to the intent when they they post her and her family's names, address, phone number, emails, employer supervisor, defamed her on med websites, etc? You think they will stop at her SS#? There's all sorts of password scripts you can run on email servers to fish for an email password if you know how to do it.
Once you have all that info it becomes much much easier to steal someone's identify. You think after posting all of that they will magically stop and follow the law again?
