After watching the video, here are my thoughts...

The girl was clearly drunk and wrong. What inspired her to harass the Uber guy... I'll never know. So let's get that right out front: she's wrong.

But in the comment section on the video, it said the Uber guy didn't press charges. Instead, the girl paid him a "cash settlement."

So... if the Uber guy is square with this chick after her bad behavior episode, why are so many not square with her, even though they had nothing to do with the situation?

This all seems like a bunch of people sticking their nose where it doesn't belong.

We have a case of person A offending/assaulting person B... and persons A and B settled it, right? I don't understand why persons CDEFGHIJKLMNOPQRSTUVWXY&Z have to get involved in order to "punish" person A.

Just so you know where this is coming from... I hate alcohol. And I've spoken out against it many times on this board (not that anyone would remember me... they never do). I don't drink, and never have. I'm not making an excuse for her bad behavior because she's drunk... I just think people need to mind their own business.

I watched the video and though... "what a dumb bitch." I didn't watch the video, think, "what a dumb bitch" and proceed to look her up on line to figure out how I can harm her for being a dumb bitch. The people who do that... are messed up. And there's waaaay too many people like that.
Because paying the poor Uber driver doesn't absolve her of her actions. The guy took what he could get out the bad situation. Pressing charges doesn't do anything for him, but taking cash does. But again, it doesn't mean that she never acted like a complete a-hole. She did.

Physicians should be held to a higher standard of personal conduct, and it's a good thing that the world knows that she did this. Hopefully this will prompt her to seek professional help for her substance abuse and anger issues. Lots of people drink recreationally, but most people do not drink to the point of losing control and assaulting someone, trashing their car, hurling scissors at people, etc. So "she had a bad day and was drunk" is not a sufficient excuse for her behavior.

She needs to go through substance abuse counseling, and probably anger management counseling, if she wants to practice medicine. But in the meantime, she still acted like a complete a-hole and I'm glad she's being shamed for it.

This is actually better for her and for society than putting her in jail for a while or stripping her of her medical license. Shame the shite out of her and suspend her from her residency until she takes the appropriate steps to make sure she learns from these mistakes and becomes a better person.

Unfortunately for her, I wasn't her driver...after a few minutes of that madness I would of thrown her in trunk for everyone's' safety::::and drive her a few blocks until she calmed down making 180 degree turns popping E_brakes

She may have had abduction PTSD, but hey, it wasn't that at all and I woukd of saved her national emarrassment.

Alphas need to take charge in these moments

4chan is actually performing a public service here. This woman lacks the judgment to be a MD. She's not a 20 year old sorority girl. She's 30. She's graduated medical school. She's in residency. If she behaves like this at this stage in life she has no business being a neurologist.

They are simply raising the public profile of her actions to the point her employer and disciplinary authorities are aware and have to act.

this has nothing to do with freedom. That type of behavior has no room in polite society.

The people doxxxing her are just upset that she is tossing money at her problem; which is mostly jealously. However, their childish actions does not forgive her behavior.

She thought she could get away with anything because she is a decent looking women and rich. A dude acting like that would have been beaten and dragged to jail.

One bad night does not erase all the THOusands Of other days where a person has been a help to the world and lighting up their families/friends ' lives.

No wonder we have the highest incarceration rate. We are a punitive, mob rule-like nation at times, and everyone is always so quick to " lock em up and throw away the key after one bad day". Glass houses, motheefrickers. (Not y'all, TD fam)

I can't believe people are feeling bad for her. She did something ridiculously over the the top in public. Ive never been so drunk that I had a psychotic fit of rage, and I've been blackout drunk multiple times. If that happens ton you when you drink too much, A) Do not drink and B) go see a therapist

She acted like a terrible arse. Lets just hang her and be done with it. On the list of terrible people it's Stalin, Pol Pot, Hitler, then this drunk chick.

Yes it can. Happens all the time. Besides, she's not going to jail. She just may not be a doctor - which is good news for the public I would say.

With appropriate therapy and counseling, she can overcome her personal issues and be fit for a medical career. But she needs to recognize that she has a problem and commit to working on them over the long term. I expect this will be a stipulation if she wants to come back from suspension.

It IS freedom. This is the world we live in. We all know that if we go out and do something dumb in public that gets caught on tape, there's a good chance it's going to be on the internet. She made a very poor decision. She's a professional. Now she has to suffer the consequences.

I'll comment.

If I owned the company she worked for then I would do my best to let her go. It looks bad on her employer to keep her. She can get a job else where but not from me.

Preach..!!!.... Idk of its the 24/7 news cycle, but people are devolving into the "burn em at the stake" mentality. Cell phones- everyone has these cameras so damn near every mistake is ballooned into this Epic Fathead cardboard cutout.

She paid, he accepted the apology. She'll remember not to be a crazy bish, & lesson learned. It's not that serious

Ah, good old Godwin's Law. Invoke the name of Hitler on the internet. That's very lazy, and a ridiculous reach. Nobody is being tried for war crimes, or accusing her of anything crazy. I thought this board was full of "take responsibility for your actions" types, no?

If you act like an a-hole, get shunned by society. I wish it happened more often. If you aren't an a-hole, you simply have nothing to worry about, right?

We've swung the pendulum too far though. Before youtube/cellphone cameras, people got away with this ahole behavior all the time.

She now won't even get a legit shot to try and fix the behavior as she will be a pariah and have a hard time finding a another job

Yep.

I'm a Cold War kid. Growing up, I remember hearing stories of people in Russia always worried about their neighbors informing on them if they said a bad thing about Leonid Brezhnev or if they bought pickled mushrooms on the black market. Nobody trusted anyone, and everyone was willing to rat on everyone else.

It's a different brand of mass oppression here... but it's starting to get more real, and it's trending parallel to that model. It scares me that it seems more people are not into "freedom" anymore.

We've got some potential KGB informants in this thread alone.

Bleating sheep full of short attention span outrage.

You are right, but there are still consequences for having "one bad night." A person could have one bad night, drive home drunk, and kill someone from just "one bad night." Whether that person is a "good person" or not is irrelevant. The choice to drive home drunk, which costs someones life, has consequences. Of course, this girl didn't kill someone, but there are consequences for her actions, and it doesn't matter if she is otherwise an upstanding citizen.
