Sweet I was hoping there would be a Alanis Morissette expert in here. I kid but it doesn’t change the fact that he was the drummer during such a celebrated time for a pretty huge group during the time. Plus I’d think he didn’t just sit back in the shadows and do his drumming, from what I’ve seen he was a energetic personality in the group as well. shite I guess I’m the Alanis expert now.

Isn’t it ironic?

Don't ya Think?

Seriously, watched the Alanis documentary on HBO Max on a plane just yesterday. HE was a big part of the doc, and gave lots of "diary room" talks about that time.
Tremendous loss.

This sucks. Guy was always smiling. Great musician. I read Daves new book and it Sounded like Taylor was Dave’s best friend in the world too

I take it you're into such awesomeness as Sigur Ross. That seems your speed.

Are you a foo fan, roger?

I’ll be honest, I appreciate that anyone’s getting guitar driven rock attention. But they always seemed like slightly off white walls through the entire house. It just never had much excitement or risk and I think rock n roll needs some punch to it.

I obviously feel horrible for Taylor’s family and the band. But Dave…losing Kurt and now Taylor. Devastating.

Like most bands, there's a few songs I like, a couple I really like but I find most boring.

Foo is good solid power pop though at worst.

He rightly has negative emotions towards a group of people who agreed to shepherd him into a 2nd class citizen category over his vaccination status.

Well I would support him in that. Vaccination Nazis can suck a dick.

Foo Fighters were big proponents of the vaccine, enforcing vaccine only concerts. Makes you think

Man. Dude was always solid. Was just watching a video the other day where Dave pulled a fan up to play drums to Queen/Bowie's "Under Pressure" (which he nailed) and Taylor sang it.

At voodoo fest a few years ago, they let one of the roadies play the drums on this and Taylor sang. If I remember correctly, the roadies’ dad was the queen drummer. It was really cool.
Saw the once at Voodoo and once at the Filmore . So much energy.

One of my favorite videos, when Dave and Taylor were on Craig Kilborn-kind of a lounge-lizard take on Stairway to Heaven. At about 3:20, his “solo” is every kid in the 70’s.
