Until just recently perhaps, since the 1960's.....Louisianians, more than any other state, including Floridians, has owned & dominated a a vast proportion of the Beach real estate/property on the Emerald Coast! In the 60's/70's Baton Rouge owned 75%+ of Pensacola Beach. From the 1980's on.....S. La has dominated Orange Beach as well.
There are more LSU fans "here" (I've lived here for over 20 years) than Florida Gator, Florida State, Bama, Auburn, by far!!

Was there last week, was pretty equally represented by La and Tx vehicle tags.
Some people wearing masks, some not, but overall nobody was making a big deal either way. It was a nice change from the BR Karen’s.
