Drone carrying cellphones, drugs, hacksaw blades crashes at Oklahoma prison

I think the drone was worth more than the whole stash

That looks like the DJI Phantom, could be a knockoff though. If it is a DJI, the range with the stock radio is about 1500 feet. If they use GPS control, they can go as far as the battery would take them. There's videos on youtube of these things traveling for a few miles then returning home.
