Been doing it for 4 years. My AC in the landrover doesn’t work and I can’t afford to get it fixed

shite, I dunno. Maybe it’s because if I’ve been parked in the sun the temperature in my car is quite a bit higher than outside. So, instead of relying only on the A/C to cool the vehicle, I drive with the windows down for a few minutes.

Many years ago I used to run five miles before driving home 75 miles from work in sweats, no A/C and with the windows up.
That’s not much mileage for a run, but there was not any opportunity in the evening once I got home. Prior to that I averaged about 12 miles a day unless it was cold. I hate cold weather, but love a cold building interior.
I eventually mowed three miles of the top of the levee (one mile down and back x3) and could run when the ex (Pics are in the mail) had her back turned when I was supposed to be mowing, etc.
Running days are forever behind me pending an attempt to survive an apocalypse of any description.
These days it’s A/C on with the windows down for a few minutes to drop the temperature of the interior surfaces.

when you are soaked in sweat its the only way to dry off
if you ride with a/c on you just get cold and become sick and you are still soaking wet
ride with windows down for about 30 minutes and you have dried off then you can roll up windows for a/c and NOT get sick while you ride around nice and chilly
only pampered sissies who dont ever work hard and get sweaty cant understand this

i did this for two summers with my first car. in high school. trying to impress girls, failing left and right, clearly. I remember one time, a girl i had a huge crush on called me as I was driving. had to roll all the windows up to pay max attention. it was august. in the afternoon. by the time she told me her john deere bullshite i was soaked to the bone. drove a solid 10 miles in that heat with windows up to get rejected.

I’m not a lard arse so I can stand the heat and after breathing stale recycled office air for 8 hour I need the humidity to break all the dry boogers loose.
