How do you know if Someone doesn’t have a legit emergency?

You ever had to take a shite really bad on the road?

Have someone sick, a kid or elderly to rush to the hospital?

An emergency at home or work and you just have to be there?

Ever had to get to the airport or if you miss that flight it will cost you another $1,000-1,500 for another ticket and lose a day of travel or have to sleep on airport floor?
Better yet, the flight is for a family member or good friend and if you don’t make it, you miss the wedding.

If not, you’re a joke of a person and should post less of this nonsense.

I’ll give you the 1st & 2nd swing as I drive past you on the shoulder.

Mind your own business and don’t worry about someone having to ride the shoulder.

If you have leisurely time, stay in your lane, if you do not, ride the shoulder.

Your likely those assholes that yet to block me as I ride past you, one day, maybe you’ll get unlucky able block me when I’m dealing with an emergency & I get out and commence to whipping your arse!

Yes it does , last Monday night late, after 11 PM. I 12 shut in that area. 7 vehicles, at least 6 were pickups passed myself and everyone else waiting to exit on the shoulder. Self entitled pricks …

Meh, my brother and I were riding motorcycles and followed a car for miles on the shoulder of the Atchafalaya Basin Bridge.

We arrived at the front of line well past the bridge. It was mid August and hot as hell.

When we got to the front of the line a State Trooper pulled the car ahead of us over and motioned for us to continue.

I thanked him and he said he understood that the bikes were air cooled and likely to overheat. I would guess he probably rode motorcycles as well at some point in his life.

That said, I would never do that in a car unless the next exit was clearly visible and safe to proceed.

If one lane splits into left and right turn lanes, blocking the adhoc lane that’s not yours is a dick move.

Not sure I’ve ever seen this happen. But if you’re going slow perhaps you should move the frick over.

Years ago I was stuck in a massive jam on I-65, about an hour south of Montgomery. There was an exit a mile or so ahead and a steady stream of dickheads were driving down the emergency lane/shoulder, trying to avoid waiting in line like everyone else. 20 minutes later, I was to the exit myself and was delighted to see a sheriff's deputy flagging every emergency lane/shoulder driver into a grassy area, where another deputy was writing tickets.
