A fricking epidemic is people riding your arse while passing, and then trying to big hole their way over to pass on the right as soon as there's a sliver of daylight between you and the car you're passing.
I have to get over way earlier than I want all the time to prevent getting stuck in the left lane because once one dumbass does it, the whole string of dumbass behind him is doing it. Sometimes getting over means id have to stand on the brakes to avoid the next car and in that case ill absolutely speed up like this ford driver did, so I can avoid somebody trying to pull a stupid stunt and so I can hurry up and get back over.
I drive about 50k miles a year so I see more than my share of accidents. Its equal parts retarded fast and furious wanna be idiots driving stupid while staring at their phone and those "frick everybody else on this road" assholes who can't figure out how fast they want to go and ride in the left lane for 100 miles.
Driving just 1mph slower than the average speed of the traffic on my commutes has definitely added years to my life. I highly recommend it. Let all the idiots go be idiots and wreck their own shite up.

I would have too, but not because I'm being a jerk.
I would have cleared the area because at that moment, it's the safest thing to do for ME. Nothing can hit me and my vehicle if I'm moving faster than they are.
And Ya'll should try driving around with a trailer attached to your vehicle. I've pulled our travel trailer over 30K miles around this country. If you think people have a problem and ride your bumper in a regular vehicle, you should see what they do when your pulling 25' of aluminum down the highway...

If I’m driving 6 to 8 hours I have a speed I want to average, I don’t want to go slow then fast as hell, then slow…so it puts me in the right lane a ton, then zipper in, then back in the right lane.

Well, we don't know what he was going to do once he passed the SUV because the car driver made his maneuver and the truck responded by speeding up more. He might have gotten over, but rage got him.

As I have aged, I don't do much of that anymore. I tend to just want the issue away from me so whatever it takes to get it resolved so they can kill themselves away from me if they choose.
