Ooooh, I wish I had thought of that.

My dream is to comfortably retire my parents. My dad just turned 68 this year and is still working, mom is turning 63 in October. After having them pay for all my shite including tuition to LSU among other things, its the one thing I wish I could do for them. Unfortunately unless I win the Powerball or have millions of dollars fall into my lap, that isn't happening anytime soon.

Mostly I’m just looking forward to having the house paid off one day. To get that bill off our plate will open up a lot of other possibilities. More travel, more investments, more to give away or spend on others, etc.

Head down and push through the corporate world for 46 more months then ride off into the sunset. Not sure I can make it though. The daily bullshite is unbearable.

Sorry, that is a lot of BS to go through for $120000/year. You basically saddled yourself with a job, where you do not have to work, yet never get a raise and cannot get promoted and with mostly full recovery, you are still partially disabled.

Want to rethink this.

Myself, I would take that 31 day job where they pay me $0.01 the first day yet double my salary every day.

Your dream is a permanent partial disability and 120K/year?

$5M powerball payout after taxes.
$1M pays off my debt, new cars, new house, charity, and a comfy savings. $4M goes towards investment portfolio and I live off the 3-5% APY.
It’s just enough money to get ahead but not enough to retire and that’s what I’m looking for. Would want to focus my time and energy on my goal of becoming a professional pilot. Hard to do that when you’re the breadwinner with 3 kids.

Geez, low bar here. I'm a full time single dad with 3 kids and a HS teacher/ coach. I'd like to make enough money without working all the constant side jobs to make it paycheck to paycheck.

And be able to buy a paid off old Diesel excursion to haul us around in.

Beyond the obvious like winning the lottery, I’ve often thought it would be nice if a tornado totaled my house but didn’t harm the family or pets in the process.

I pass by Gayle Benson at a saints game and give her a subtle gaze. We lock eyes for a brief moment, and I give her a playful wink. I walk up and hand her my card.

She eventually calls after some reservation since I’m much younger, But she allows me to come over for a few drinks. She gets a little tipsy and I offer to walk her to bed. I then take her for a visit to pound town and proceed to blow her back out.

She falls madly in love that night and the constant visits to pound town take a toll on her fragile body. Eventually within 6 months her heart gives out and she succumbs. But before this she puts me in the will to be majority owner of both the Saints and pelicans. I fire both the inept Micky Loomis and Joe Dumars on day one and lead both organizations to the promise land as owner/gm.

Hated by both leagues over my immense success, I slowly morph into a modern day Al Davis and begin to slick my hair back, wear white track suits, and pimp glasses where I live out my days as the biggest pain in the arse to Roger Goodell and die a happy man with constant young poon by my side.

Thank you for using the word "dream".

If you would've told me when I was 15 that in 29 years I would be making the salary I make a year, reached the 7 digit mark in retirement funds, have the health benefits I have, the healthy family I have, and have the future opportunities for an easy career going forward, I would've said "that's a dream and I will take it".

If you're asking this question to the internet character known as Gee from Tiger Droppings, give me Leo DeCaprio's life and I would be as happy, although mostly empty.

Your dream scenario is to get run over by an 18 wheeler for only 120k a year? Are you on crack?

Been there

Usually when something stops working, like the air conditioner, and you learn new units have gone insane in pricing. I found myself bargaining with God to make a tree fall on just that side of the house
