Drago's owner buys old Music Warehouse property for Baton Rouge restaurant

Cvitanovich said he has a lease in place to open a Drago’s at 4580 Constitution Ave. in a building that had most recently been occupied by FYE, a DVD and CD store that went out of business in early 2017. In March, the East Baton Rouge Planning Commission approved a request to rezone the property to allow for alcoholic beverage sales. The building is just over 13,500 square feet and sits on a 1.1-acre lot with ample parking.
It's going to be a bitch to get to since it's off College, but it's hard to beat that spot for visibility. Kind of wish they'd have opened in Mid-City or somewhere off Jefferson.

that one turn off corporate directly to the I-10 on ramp is a real doozie

Curious if there will be enough parking. Google Maps shows the building surrounded by stalls but it may not be enough given the square footage of the restaurant

Yea there's a dedicated turning lane if you're coming from north of I-10 and you just turn right off of College if you're coming from the South.
Even more so, you can come from either way on perkins and either go behind Walmart and come up between Albertsons and shoot across, or take a right into the neighborhood by the storage unit from the other side of perkins and just drive straight to it

Common to have property under one company and the business under another. That way if the business goes bankrupt or gets sued for something you don’t lose the property. Just the business assets.

BR needs to fix that College drive intersection. It’s going to require some flyover lanes.
