Which statement is contradictory?
That people are taking her comments out of context or not considering all of her comments before objecting?
That she’s a qualified, credentialed physician who is more qualified than most to speak on the topic?

No, I do not think she is fear mongering. I have said that some comments (coupled with the burglar analogy) were poorly chosen but (as I’ve said) I don’t believe she’s intentionally trying to cause fear thorough manipulation and exaggeration.

There is no way to take her comments out of context. She claims the delta variant is coming to kill our children followed by children being in the hospital dying as we speak. Either choose the vaccine or you are signing your death warrant and your children.
She literally said those things. Can she back them up with actual numbers or is what she said her fears and point of view? Back it up with actual and factual examples of it killing children and the ER being inundated with children dying or lose your credibility as an expert. No one in her position should ever speak at a press conference and say what she said without facts and real examples of what is going on.

That’s bullshite. Show us the data that says it’s worse for kids. Her experience at her hospital isn’t data. We all have access to the same data.
It’s also very convenient that they say delta is worse for kids right after they admit they are having trouble vaccinating young people.
The more interesting question for me is why they are so adamant that young people be vaccinated for a virus that has basically zero risk to them.

It's pretty obvious to me that her fear mongering was aimed at the La.'s large percentage black citizens (under age 50) because they were already counted as a given for this vaxx, and they've made JBE and this state go per capita (close to) dead last as they're even questioning a 99% survival rate. I would get my popcorn out if the black leaders said enough with this fear porn.
