Years ago, there was a douche fast food manager that I knew who was driving through a black neighborhood in Waco and thought it would be funny to yell "N: as he drove past three black guys walking down the street. About a block later, his car fricked up and stalled.
Interestingly, he didn't get an arse whipping. He got a lecture and advise, e.g. "you need to think about how your life is and why you shouldn't do what you did."

Some a-hole said some mean words to some woman.
And people’s response was to ruin his life. Some are suggesting violence, etc...
Look, you’re gonna deal with assholes all the time. Some times people have a bad day. Some people are just dicks.
But the mindset that mean words should be responded to with violence and someone’s livelihood ruined...that’s just chickenshit.
Someone was rude to me the other day, called me some mean words, got in my face. I just sat there cool as a cucumber and sipped my coffee. I didn’t make a stink, didn’t cause a scene. Just let the a-hole be an a-hole and went about my day.
Unless someone escalates physically, mean words are no excuse for violence

There are a pile of wife beaters regularly in Court here (and probably in every parish in Lousiaian), none of whom have hordes of people trying to out their address, get them fired, etc.
Or, you see people get million dollar verdicts for racial or sexual harassment - far less than one gets for losing a leg or arm at work.
We have lost perspective.
