I can’t imagine having to tell a 5 year old both parents are gone forever. Hopefully the grand parents are young and in good health.

Yes, usually after 2 or 3 years depending on the policy. I guess they figure if someone wants to commit suicide they aren't going to wait years to do it for the insurance.

Blah blah blah, people are going to discuss it and it doesn't really matter anyway if she was with the guy. That's no reason to kill them. Dude was fricked up, it doesn't really matter what their sex lives were or were not.
The daughter is going to have a lot more to deal with than stupid rumors on the internet.

Yes they sure do. I sell insurance and if it is after the 2 year window after the policy has been in effect suicide will be covered. The biggest question is was she the beneficiary to any life insurance policy he had. If so there is a thing called a Common Disaster Clause which is provided under the Uniform Simultaneous Death Law. So in other words if she was the primary beneficiary to his life insurance policy and they basically died simultaneously then it would go to the contingent beneficiary who would most likely be the daughter but there is no way of knowing that unless you see the policy and who the beneficiaries were for the policy.
