I'm just reading about this story and it's terrifying that someone can be so calculating and evil. He could've changed his mind plenty of times but still went through with murder. And he had a little girl. Just sick and evil, and scary people can get that bad.

I just want to say one thing.. mark was the freaktard he beat and tortured my cousin Amanda and no he did not follow them to Florida they were all together on a trip. and some how heard that her and Kenneth were seeing each other... both mark and Amanda were separated... there daughter Audrey is on her way back home here in Missouri she is doing OK right now but she is also only 5... both mark and Amanda both served in the military to. i think mark might have been having problems with ptsd also cause hes been over seas many times.

Audrey was with his mom. im amandas cousin. the little one is on her way back here to missouri right now along with amanda so we can give her a proper bareal. im sorry cant type right now just very upset this has happened. she was a great person very enerjetic person. and yes facebook shows good but mark was not good to her back in christmas he beat her terribly bad with his gun.. and told her if she ever leaves him he would kill her and well he did.

Then what made her think it was a good idea to enter into a joint custody agreement with this person?
Your cousin seems to have made some bad decisions even though she isn't to blame for what happened to her in any way.

ok take a look do you really think that someone is going to ever think that someone is really going to kill them. i mean she knew he was a dick but she tried to keep him around for there daughters sake.. i mean they tried to work it out. they both owned a bar in alabama together so there was still some what of a tie.. now my family and i are still trying to figure out what happened its just hear say right now who killed who.. we just figure mark did it. maybe kenneth did cause she would not leave mark we dont know for sure yet.. i try to keep up on the news down there from here in missouri... we all make stupid mistakes we just dont plan for this to happen..

ive been searching a lot of the news and thread down around there trying to find why this happened for the family we are all still confused on why. cause mark was just a awesome person when he was around he treated her like a angel and was very respectful.. but i guess in the closed closet he was not i was confused very confused.

That's pretty easy to determine, law enforcement was probably able to trace the gun back to the husband and/or fingerprints, gun shot residue on his hands

Yep if i have a good grasp of their behavior both physically and psychologically and I'd say him beating her and telling her he would kill her is a pretty major sign to remove yourself from the situation as quickly as possible.

A father that beats and threatens to kill people? In what world is that good for the daughter? You think a judge would have given him any custody knowing those facts?

Not everyone makes mistakes that cut their lives short by 50 years.
I know some women can be downright stupid and negligent in who they choose as a partner to father their children. I also know that there's more marital turbulence along military couples than non-military. Just a fact of life in today's world.
Maybe military marrying military was an awful mix given psychological exposure.

I’m so sorry for your family’s loss. It makes me want to cry knowing that lil girl will not have her momma in her life. Girls are supposed to have mom around till they get old enough and leave the nest. My mom had two boys and she loved us dearly and I was lucky enough to have her in my life for 39 years.

Thank you. Yes its gonna be hard on little Audrey when she finds out why mom and dad aint coming back. she does know that they wont be she just dont know why yet. shes coming back home to us. shes gonna stay with amandas parents. there really loving people. my uncle amandas dad is a preacher so its gonna be a good place for her to be.

lol ya i sure did not pick this last name.. lol amanda was on my moms side of the family her original name was amanda kessler.
