Nah, Blanche was the youngest by quite a bit.
Correct - Betty White (Rose) was actually the oldest, and last girl standing, having just observed her 99th birthday last week. Bea Arthur (Dorothy) was next coming in May of the same year (1922). Estelle Getty (Sophia) was born in 1923 and Rue McClanahan (Blanche) was over a decade younger, born in 1934.

Blanche was in Starship Troopers.

Maybe the character. But Estelle Getty who played Sophia was the youngest actress of the 4
Nope, as the other poster said, Rue was at least a decade younger than the other 3.
Estelle was a year younger than her "daughter" Bea. And Rue was over 10 years younger than Estelle.

Can I take Dorothy's daughter from a few years before, when Dorothy was called Maude?

And we know AB, for a fact, was a freak. How? She was married to John Carpenter for over 10 years.

And, I forgot until I started all the wiki rabbit holes on GG, Maude and Adrienne Barbeau that Rue was actually Maude's next door neighbor/best friend, married to Mr. Drummond, who was the show's Republican punching bag.

Bea Arthur as Dorothy was born May 1922.
Estelle Getty as Sophia was born July 1923.

I’m watching this show right now. My favorite show since elementary school.

I’m going to be real candid here
Rose is my choice
Also
I find the show very funny. They have a chemistry that is hard to capture and their comedic timing is about as good as I’ve seen. Cheers is similar.
Good thread
