Of course, this has backfired tremendously with some of the stupid shite she says - although I do have to admit I was surprised she took the city doctor job to begin with - although she probably thought she could help more people

These people arent idiots but that doesnt mean they know everything either.

This b works in medicine and is a teacher, she does not own her own business and seeing the schools she went to as a white girl from nola, she probably grew up rich and has never had to worry about money.

She is the epitome of white privelege

To think doctors don’t help people is a little naive, don’t you think?

Her boss is probably a gigantic problem

Is she consulting with LSU/Tulane ID doctors or taking orders from the mayor? I honestly have never heard of her before this thread, and haven’t seen her speak at a press conference.

Is Dr “W” still around in the ED at Lsu?

IDK she teaches emergency medicine at LSU

quote:

Avegno, 45, is an emergency room doctor at University Medical Center and associate clinical professor of emergency medicine at Louisiana State University Health Sciences Center. Cantrell's office stated Avengo is a New Orleans native.

quote:

In a news release, Cantrell called Avegno "an advocate for our most vulnerable communities." She said Avegno's experience will be an asset for the Health Department.

These statement bother me, shouldnt she be an advocate for the entire community which she serves?

She did go to private school but I wouldn’t say she grew up rich

Ironically I wanna say say she graduated HS from Dominican.

Same HS as Judge Barrett

Should I add her to my F.T.S.C.S. list?

Then she needs a new boss, so she can "maybe" help people?
You my friend are too close to it. IF, she's any kind of a Doc, she
should speak what she feels is the truth and be damned.
Otherwise, she's a lackey.
Hope you both sleep well.

There’s this thing called scholarships, plus people work, and can pay their way - I’m not spilling people’s personal information on here - especially things that can be easily looked up

It kind of happens when you go to Dominican - first off, you have to be smart to get in - second - being smart and doing well in high school opens up opportunities, especially for college

Avegno, Coney-Barrett, and I have benefited from this - and trust me - just because you don’t like who she is it doesn’t mean whatever picture you have painted of her in your mind is correct

And no, I wasn’t a classmate of either one of those women, and I have plenty of family that works in the hospitality industry so I’ve seen the effects of these shut downs - but I’m not going to lie and call someone names when I know it’s not true

I seriously doubt this. Do you have a published quote?

Does not directly correlate to...

Both can be correct.

I won’t have any problems sleeping

Plus, the mayor isn’t her only boss

And in this day and age - does anyone speak the truth at work? That’s a good way to lose a job. There are plenty of doctors all over the world that have lost their job for speaking the truth. There are many others who have as well. Maybe some people don’t want to risk it

She did say this however “If you are planning an uncontrolled gathering or a party for 100 people, look at that guest list and decide which seven of them you’d be comfortable sentencing to death,” Avegno said.
