People will call it a conspiracy theory, but I feel pretty strongly that the intel community or their contractors are directly or indirectly involved in the two attempts on Trump.
Most of them are paranoid loons to begin with before all the rhetoric about how Trump is 'going to end democracy' and 'what would you do if you had the chance to stop Hitler?'

They've got some pretty deep conspiracy theories on the left, Mike Pence allegedly said he wanted to put all gays into concentration camps, all republicans are trying to force the US into a Christo-Nationalist state and we are only "one" election before the Handmaid's Tale becomes a reality all while ignoring real life actual situations.

I'm not so sure, but he certainly believed he was working with some government contacts and didn't try to hide that on his social media.
