The sheriff says "there is only one group that cares about the lives of African Americans and that is the police". Sure the police do, but the only group? That is hogwash. How about community leaders, churches, government, the law abiding and working black people of the black community? I like the guy, but come on with that crap. He is right about all the other stuff, IMO

That was hyperbole from him but I think he was trying to drive his point home that the officers are out there risking their lives for these idiots running around with guns shooting each other.

I agree to an extent but those entities you just listed are presently turning a blind eye to black culture right now.

It was a fricking despicable comment, and they all fricking laughed at it (except that one blonde chick that looked really uncomfortable). Just shameful that CNN lets that on their station.
