I just dropped my daughter off at DHS for registration, just to let y’all know, I wasn’t car jacked, and didn’t see any purple haired staff wanting to indoctrinate her into becoming a woke activist.

The Holy Angels girls were always really nice. Beautiful campus, too.

Completely false statement. There are over 130 8th graders at DHS for 2023-2024.

More than 300 graduates of the New Orleans High School
So basically what is close to one graduating class of a school that is 160 years old?

Yeah - Dominican has been around since 1860 - so 300 alumnae is not a lot
And the woman mentioned in the letter - well - she’s written articles about Dominican and apparently she and I went to totally different schools at the same time. Which is a shame because we were friends
She’s lesbian, pro abortion, pro weirdo alumna - there are many of those, unfortunately.

Typical low hanging fruit for WDSU.
Unfortunately, she was probably indoctrinated while in college….. HS can only teach them so much.

I understand that. But you indicated there was no controversy, but now it's just a small controversy?
Unless they have a Fountain of Youth in the cafeteria, not sure that's relevant.

I see you’ve changed your OP yet again.
Where did you get your original number that the 8th grade enrollment was only 87?

Putting words in my mouth, nice. Never once said that. Feel free to go through my posts show me where I did and I’ll eat crow.

In the end, I don’t really care though so I’ll move along. See you in the Barrett Jackson thread, I haven’t been following it much the last few years but hoping to go when it’s in town.
Nah. It’s just been surprising that a car guy like you who I assume is a straight white male seemingly defends a side that hates your guts all the time. I Just noticed it over time.

Pretty sure a lot of the alums from the 50’s are still alive..

My guess is that a large swath of Alumni from Dominican now send their kids to one of these schools...
in Houston:
Strake Jesuit
St Agnes
Duchesne Academy
St Thomas High
Incarnate Word
St Pius X
Frassati Catholic
St John XXIII
O'Connell College Prep

I'm sure they are. But noting that the school was founded in 1860 as some indication of the alumni population is a bit strange.

Seems as though Dominican has been providing security to walk students and teachers up and from their vehicles.
If something (a school, business, etc) is located in an area where this is necessary, then I am not going there.

I guess Dominican will survive past 2030.
