I believe it's 28. My advice would be, if you're going to do it, do it now. Engineering isn't going anywhere. If you don't do it now you'll end up getting married and having kids and you'll regret it for the rest of your life for not trying.

Yep. I turn 28 in 2 months. Wanted to do it my whole life. Got married and couldn't do it

Went to LSU to join afrotc. Was told that they looked at grades and if I was serious that I needed to have great grades. Told to major in basketweaving if that's what it took. Decided that should I have washed out, I didn't want to be a basket weaver. Said I'd join after I graduated from Nicholls with my degree.

I've heard some say you have to be in flight school be 28. But there is a waiver for everything. You need to talk to an officer recruiter. Not the dickhead at the local recruiting station.

I've given it a ton of thought. I do want to go to law school but maybe this could be a little detour before that.

On a related note. The Marine Corps called me literally 5 minutes ago and approved my release to join the Air National Guard to be tactical air control party member. Not as cool as actually flying the jets but I'm still pretty stoked about it.
