Bled just a tad and stopped quickly. Any idea how long they take to heal?

I used to spray this purple medicine on my Beagles pads when they got sore,Pad Tuff or something like that.
If it’s a house dog and gets on the furniture it would be a problem.

It depends on if you can get the dog to quit licking the area. A little bit of ointment can help speed healing and prevent infection.

My dog got out one day, ran asphalt 10 hours, paws were pink. Lazy for 3 days then was back running.

If that means the same as it does at our house, it means he gets on whatever furniture he wants whenever he wants.

It's not cheating if it's your dog.

You know, because it's YOUR dog, get it?

When my lab ripped her pad on barbed wire fence she bled a ton at first. We glued it back together wrapped in gauze and tape and taped a sock so she couldn’t lick it. She healed pretty quick.

3 weeks ago she ripped her toe nail off and we did basically same thing and was good to go (no bleeding) the next day.

If it’s not bleeding, wrap it and treat it like any other wound.

I’m thinking the same. He has a couple of carprofen left and I see they can take meloxicam, which I have a ton of. Gonna try to lower his pain and otherwise let it heal.

I know the exact medicine you are talking about…we used to buy that spray at the co-op!
