I probably wouldn't even sweat the trifexis thing at all if it was just a 1 time thing.
If the paw isn't THAT swollen, just monitor and take the dog in on Wednesday. Obviously if the paw is very swollen or gets much worse, you'd need to find someone else to see the dog sooner. But as of now and based on how you presented it, Wednesday seems fine IMO.

My Boxer had this happen a couple of times. Itchy paw and what looks like fire ant bites under the coat. Also had the droopy red eye which is what bothered me most. Vet did what we pretty much expected and gave us a wight appropriate dosage of Benedryl. It's uncomfortable for a couple of days. Try Benedryl in the meantime.

A fairly common problem with this Drug if you do some research. Mine became very lethargic and would vomit repeatedly after taking Trifexis.
I use a regular heart worm pill administered monthly and treat my yard with Talstar for bugs so this takes care of the fleas.

Did the dog vomit once after the Triflexis or has it continued to vomit?
I read it as if it happened once.
If it’s still vomiting it needs to see a vet ASAP

IMO the paw is a side effect or unrelated
How big is the paw swollen?
Is it all 4 paws or just 1?
Does it stink like yeast?
Is it irritated from the chewing in between the toes?
An allergy shot will probably do the trick

He simply said his dog puked after taking Trifexis, really not a big deal if it's the 1st time.
And also his dogs paw was swollen. Again, he didn't make the swollen paw sound really urgent, so monitoring it and going on Wednesday seems fine IMO.

I took my dog in for his annuals and wanted to re-up his 6month Trifexis. The doctor told me that they stopped selling Trifexis due to its side effects. I'd been giving it to my dog for 6 years with no side effects. So I don't know what's going on, but this is the second time I've seen/heard issues with it.
I switched to something that starts with an "N." I'll have to check when I get home. (maybe its netguard)

Very common reaction to Trifexis. Labs would vom all over the place within 30 mins. Vet told us to break it up and give in doses, but that was a pain in the @$$. There is supposed to be a new combo heart worm/ flea preventative that is supposed to be easier on them.
