You shouldn’t be doing that.

Almost got bit by one of those little protective dogs at Home Depot. Turned a corner and passed by her buggy when dog snapped at me. When I spoke to the mgr he said there's nothing he could do. Then a lawyer friend of mine happened to walk up and say hello. Perfect timing for me to ask him about how he would handle this. He said to the mgr, you will be paying my client a lot of money bc you didn't enforce your own rules written plainly on the door. I couldn't have set up a better situation. The mgr started walking to the woman who had the dog to limit his liability. I asked what's next, emotional pet alligators or ostriches?

Dogs are replacements for the children they didn't have.

As soon as the cuffs we’re on her, the cop should’ve told her ‘youre going to jail, and we’re putting your dog down because you’re an idiot’.

Her reaction would’ve been priceless

people and their relationships with their dogs these days is weird. Its a damn dog

Truth.

I wonder what led to this.

Dogs always had some similarities to human toddlers who react, anticipate, display low intelligence, and don’t speak, so it can’t be that alone.

Hollywood showing us animals with human characteristics in cartoons and then CGI? People losing patience and tolerance with other people?

There was definitely a mass psychological change in people.

Attorneys out west do quite well on dog bite lawsuits. Of course, you have to suffer some serious damn injury but they do well enough to advertise for it. Friend got six figures after a dog mangled her leg.

She’s clearly drunk and crazy.

I’m not watching that full video, but what gave those people the right to detain her and hold her dog so that a leash could be put on?

Old dude decided it would be a good idea to bring his boxer to home depot. Jumping all over everyone, knocked over a toddler, he couldn't control him.

Keep that shite at home.

So you're going to sue because a dog snapped at you? Really, this is why our legal system is so screwed up. Frivolous lawsuits by people looking to make a quick buck.

Were you intending to write a story that made you sound like a little beta bitch? If so, good job.

That's my local beach. It's actually quite nice and I've never noticed any rowdiness much less criminal behavior there. Cops were extremely patient and accommodating. Glad they acted professionally and with swiftness to get her and her dog off the beach.

The problem isnt dogs in public. It is trashy owners and/or undisciplined dogs. Having a dog out in public is common place in Germany but they are strict with holding owners responsible. We often took our well behaved dog on vacations and weekend trips there and she sat calmly under the table at restaurants whenever weather wasnt great or no outdoor seating.
