I had a cat that caught and ate snakes, moles, rats (he ate the heart and gave me the rest), mice, blue birds (gave me them whole), wrens he ate all but beaks and claws.

There was some I think byzantine emperor, that would entertain himself watching dogs eat monkeys. Would be intrigued to see that

I went to the State Trooper camp when I was 12 or so. They had trained dogs, rat terriers, that ran around finding and killing snakes. They were some bad arse little pups.

Had a Scottish terrier as a youngster that would do that. He was an awesome dog when it came to outdoors stuff

We had a Jack Russel Terrier who was a terror on the snake population. He killed 40-50 snakes I would guess. We even made him a plaque. The plaque was from halfway through his snake killing career.
