If you point out the fact Indians were here before our dear founding fathers were and pushed off the land + brought diseases with them during the times of Columbus - they try to justify slavery and genocide as okay for the times? ??

There is slavery and genocide now. I propose that people in a Dark Age don't realize they're in a Dark Age, and don't see the ruin of greatness around them, they believe they are more advanced and have higher ideals than anyone ever before.
