Yes. And we run a test yearly on our systems. Required by federal regulations.

My IT dept does. Our organization as a whole does not.

Between on-site and off-site server backups and employee laptops, my company can fully do their jobs anytime, anywhere

I work for the state, so yes. I haven't seen it, but I'm sure it's bloated beyond measure.

Same. Ours is built in a tabbed One Note document listing the various servers/applications and the procedures for recovery. All that is missing are the admin passwords which are securely stored electronically

How are you gonna pull out a folder if your building is destroyed in a tornado?

usually, the rebuttal is similar to this...The govt asks that you have it available on site in a binder..We're seeing companies that put it in digital format either cloud store it or put it on ipads, etc..Either way, if you lose power/internet/flooded whatever, you can't get it electronically..
Print one, keep it off site at several locations

Yes we do. Because I wrote it. It is 20 pages (when printed) and is contained within the 'COOP' (Continuity of Operations Plan). It is available 'online' and multiple copies are at several locations off-site.

The point is to have it available in multiple formats/locations.

Yes. A long, detailed one. It would be a shitshow if they actually tried to implement it.

Yes.

51....but it also covers business continuity and no-notice events (such as a flash flood)....so it's pretty detailed.

I helped write some of it. What are you wanting to know by starting this thread?
