Does the TSA system seem pervy to anyone else?

Too many of them seem to enjoy the hand checking. Nothing about this seems dignified. If this is the only way for security, I'd rather take my chances.

I accidentally left my wallet in my back pocket once while standing in one of those full body X ray machines. Some chubby weird dude put on some latex gloves and got a handful of my nuts after thoroughly feeling up my arse and thighs. It was awkward as hell. Definitely seemed pervy even though it was my fault.

Not an idiot traveler, so havent been pulled aside to get patted down...ever.
Had a bag checked a few yrs back for a little metal work tool mini flashlight keychain thingy-magigy, I didnt realize was in the bottom of my bag. About it though.

It’s amazing how “normal” the whole thing has become to the public. Between airport security and civil asset forfeiture the 4th amendment isn’t holding up well.

Only thing I’ve gotten checked for was a corkscrew purchased in Italy that I put in my backpack for some stupid reason. Stuffed it in there and forgot about it.

I thought they were going to beat me to death once after walking through with my shoes on. They consistently miss >85% of banned materials, but God help me if I forget to take off my shoes

Once, I left a can of spray starch in my checked luggage...they pulled me off the airplane to tell me about it. I later got a letter in the mail alluding to putting me on some kind of "watch list"...

I've never been patted down but maybe once every 3-4 flights they pull me aside to go through my carry-on contents and always go straight to my watch case. I have noticed it happens more often on international than domestic flights.

Not unlike the local PD's show of force at those Insurance/Sobriety checkpoints. Just a bunch of fatass desk jockey's standing around as a numbers thing (and ez overtime pay).

Yeah I dont get the folks that get patted down. Unless you havent flown since before the internets then it really isnt hard. Actually harder to do something that makes you get pulled over. (minus having a metal knee or some shite)
