The guy puts on a great show. Saw him at the Phoenix Open golf tournament last February and again this summer- for the show this summer he set ticket prices at $20 and beers were sold for $4. He's definitely an entertainer and I would see him again.

Looks like he's doing a spring break cruise next year, Norwegian Pearl

Guy is also big into helping charities and what not.

Dude is talented and puts on a great live show.
Seen him twice and I agree. Plated every instrument on stage and did a good job.

Mad respect for the dude. All around stand up American from everything I've read. Not bad for a Yankee, he's an honorary southern boy in my book.

He is good people.
Did you read about how he handles ticket scalpers?

If your read this article there's no way you can't like him.

The guy has some land in Alabama he likes to hang out at with a trailer on it. The wifi network in his trailer is named "troublewide".

I like Jackson, Mississippi. About the only song of his I like.
I like the fact that it's so geographically wrong. Uh, the river you're singing about is located 40 miles to the west in Vicksburg, Kid. There's no big muddy river flowing thru Jackson's veins. Kinda like down in Louisiana just about a mile from Texarkana...they missed that one by 90 miles. Smh

The 1979 Easter flood in Jackson, MS was among the most costly and devastating ever to occur in Mississippi, with $500-700 million in damages. This is equivalent to $1.63 billion in present day terms.
Floodwaters sent the Pearl River 15 feet above flood stage. More than 17,000 people in the cities of Jackson, Flowood, Pearl, Richland and other communities were forced from their homes. The flooding of the Pearl River placed most of Jackson, the state's capital city, under water.

Seen him several times in concert - great show, great music. I prefer his earlier music but still like the newer stuff.

The guy was never on my radar for concerts to go see but after reading this thread I will definitely have to check out his tour schedule next year.

I've been riding in Endymion for 20 years... He by far put on the best Extravaganza...

In HS and college I liked some of his music but got burnt out as he blew up. I thought he was just another white trash junkie. In more recent years I've see some interviews and where he's a huge supporter of our troops. My opinion of him quickly changed and I've found a new appreciation for his music.
I'm a Dog is one badass song.

No.
What he does is sell concert tickets for so cheap that 1) no one has a problem getting a ticket, and 2) effectively buys out all scalpers since no money would be made if the price is so low that buyers won't buy.
Like $10.
