Does shopping with other people stress you out?

Anytime the wife (no pics) wants to go grocery shopping, I just volunteer to go by myself. I love her to death but stopping on every aisle and continuing to throw things not on "the list" into the basket gives me anxiety. Part of the shopping experience for me is the plan for the shopping experience. I'll hit produce, swing by meat, circle by the milk, and grab the chips on my way out in less than 15 minutes. And when that plan gets derailed, it's like my blood pressure is rising. Rant over but does anyone relate to this?

I can't imagine letting grocery shopping stress me out like that.

Nah

But I hate shopping in a crowded store bc people never pay attention to what they're doing and leave their carts in the middle of aisles and shite. That drives me crazy. I catch my wife doing it sometimes and pull the cart in.

The correct choice is don't go, with or without her.

I can't do it either. We just do grocery pickup on Sundays and its one less fight.

My wife is ADD and we went shopping at Kroger one time (which their aisles are confusing anyway) and I got so pissed off I ditched the cart and walked the frick out.

going into walmart is going into the battle zone and you the general. you needa have better warplans and send her on a flanking mission thru like toileteries and have a rendezvous point at a specified time. plan your shopping, shop your plan

It doesn't give me anxiety but I definitely get frustrated because I am trying to get in out as fast as possible.
ETA: Now I don't do any of the shopping

Shopping with the kids in tow? Yes.

Just me an the wife (no pics)? Not too much.

Just me? Great time. I can stick to what's on the list and get the hell out of there in record time.

I prefer to shop by myself,I know what I'm coming for,I get it and leave.

My wife treats it like a marathon,I won't shop with her for anything.

When we get our million dollar stimulus I've proposed I'm going to create a system where all shopping can be done online and delivered to our houses.
