Does Louisiana have industrial exemption

For those unfamiliar with the term.

I think I've solved the puzzle on some of LA companies.

*There are many fields of engineering that dont require EIT or PE status. There are also many technical fields that arent engineering but have practical uses.

* LA has relatively few manufacturer/engineering companies. This compounds the problem.

* Some of these companies have a monopoly over their area for employment (which is a rant for another time, probably 2019)

*The exemption allows more people of varying technical backgrounds (outside a traditional BS in Engineering) to work for companies.

*By removing it, you only choose candidates who are EIT (passed the FE). Some people will eventually take the PE if their job requires it.
