Does it feel like school shootings have less effect on us compared to before?

Watching the coverage of the school shooting is terrible and my heart goes out to all the victims and their families but I can’t help but feel like it does not have the same affect on us like past school shootings. I will never forget Columbine and Sandy Hook shootings. Today we have 19 kids and 2 teachers dead and I feel like we are becoming numb to this.

Seems like one every week, not these numbers, but one a week, somewhere

The irony of being mass informed. Eventually, we are numb to everything, as we know about everything, all day long. Nothing is shocking

i see the instant polarization of the two sides and less people care.

Sandy Hook is just about as bad as we could have ever imagined prior to 2012, and it happened. Not much more we can go in terms of horror.

This 100%

Whatever the issue the first thing anyone on either side wants to do is make it political if it fits their narrative. We have lost our humanity at the altar of politics, and it is a sad sad state of affairs for the future of this world.

I've played that exact game multiple times. Never had the urge to shoot anyone IRL.

You seem to be implying violent video games causes these shooters to do what they do.

I'm pointing out that millions of people play these games and never have an urge to shoot someone.

Once you know that the FBI and CIA are behind all of them, that our elections are rigged, our currency is being hyper-inflated, famine is being artificially induced, our economy purposely destroyed, and that the citizen has zero ability to effectively stop or force accountability for any of this, it’s hard to get worked up about the 3rd school shot up this month by another deranged SSRI-prescribed wacko that everyone warned the incompetent police about.

We’re all being forced to dig our own graves at gunpoint while we argue amongst ourselves over who gets the shovel with the more comfortable grip.

Funny things is, we just had two mass shootings.. and you don;t know how many hours each one played video games... Much less the other millions of people do you?

But right off the top of my head I know that they were both 18... Hummmm thats at least a start of a possible pattern...

I just think that these things like video game playing and time, should be part of the investigation...

But watch the gamers come out of the word work here.

Yes and my suspicions why is that folks know the moment this happens, the very first thing we will have is an immediate knee jerk reaction by the left…all guns blazing so to say…the media, politicians, and pop culture trying to make everything a political story in an effort to trample the Constitution.

Nobody aside from the activist leftists wants to hear that shite, in particular before the crime scene is even cleared but we know it’s coming so we have been conditioned over the years to tune out the noise, which means avoiding most all main stream “news” reports on the incident due to the injected political crap. Can’t seem to have much reporting of the facts and only the facts…ergo that type of event falls on increasingly deaf ears over time.

Were the graphics really this bad on this game? I don’t know maybe it’s just because we didn’t know any better yet but I thought the graphics were pretty decent. Is that the PC computer version or some shite.

Given that we allowed Andrew Cuomo to get away with 15,000 elderly murders along with Fauci, Gates, and Daszak kill hundreds of thousands of people for 3K a pop rather than saving them for $10, yeah, we have been desensitized to murder.

I literally cried over that. I'm numb now. It's what happens when you have a nation run by liars, dunces, and tyrants. I'm not interested in being lectured by any administration that does this when they blow up a family of 10 so long as they're in the appropriate place and skin color:

They not only don't bother to charge them with crimes against humanity, but they defend blowing up kids. Sorry my cynicism is at its peak, and as Carlin said:

It seems like there's one every other day now. It's hard to care, especially when it inevitably turns into a gun control discussion I grow increasingly impatient with having.
