No, it should be instilled by society as a whole. But since we now coddle the hell out of our kids, they don’t know how to handle stress.

Coping skills are always helpful but not necessarily enough if your brain chemistry if off

A school or general home life setting cannot possibly give an iRL situation for this to be taught, not sure if it can be taught outside of extreme discipline like the military.

They seem to have more of a sense of entitlement about them. More self centered. I think this makes them less emotionally attached to situations

So would the teacher. Our perception of decent would probably differ as well. Schools need to stick math, science, and English. I can take care of the rest.

Sure. Teachers already teach 5,000 more things than 50 years ago, but why not add more shite to the curriculum.

Chris use to not bother me because he stuck to the GMT/Lunch/LNST post mainly but now he has ventured out and tried to become the victim lately. He really is just ducking annoying as he tries to insert himself in every thread

They generally have empathy for groups they have never met but little empathy for those around them.

They can read Predictably Irrational. It might not make them an expert, but just being aware of it can help..
