Wyoming came to play years ago when the Sugar Bowl was played outdoors in Tulane Stadium. The Wyoming HC said temps in the 30s with wind in NOLA was colder than single digits in WY.

Do you really think this is cold? Wow back in 95 I was in Iowa in a blizzard -20ish with the wind chill. Man that was fnning cold........

Have you been to chicago on a very windy and cold day? Syracuse come January/February was brutal with blowing wind and a shite load of snow. 30* here in LA does feel completely different because of the humidity but I'd much prefer this to temps under 0*

It really depends. Here in Ohio we can have really high humidity as well as lower humidity. Point in case, last week I took my dogs out and Easton cold at all. I was surprised to find it was only 32 degrees outside. Then there's days like today that make me not want to go outside at all 
The sun also plays a factor. Sadly, due to the Great Lakes, we lose a lot of that during winter.

Yes. When I lived in Kansas City after Katrina, I noticed 25* with light wind felt warmer than here when its 45 but humid/rainy! Like this week pretty much has been.
Then again, when its 17 degrees, its fricking cold no matter humid or windy or dry!!

No. we can't use the heat index in Summer to make it feel hotter and then not use it in the winter so we can be colder than everywhere else. Similarly we cannot use the windchill factor in the winter to make it seem colder and not use windchill in the summer to make it less hot . In short we can't have it both ways

Humidity does make it worse, but I don't think it's AS bad as people in Louisiana make it out to be. Grew up in Louisiana but I've now spent 2 years or more in Wisconsin and Utah.
Wind is worse than humidity on temps, but some humidity+wind+snow makes those deep Wisconsin winters unbearable. Utah is awesome, as I was still in shorts in the 40s.
Yes it does feel a little colder in LA for an equivalent temperature, but to see people in Thicket Jackets for the 50s is a little ridiculous.
