I know that, but people don't typically go up on boost so much on spark ignition daily drivers

That's obscene. No way in hell it costs that much for a brake job, even at a dealership. Those are Bugatti type prices.

Cobra & GT500 owners have been doing that for years. As long as your Air/fuel ratio is good, and you are using the appropriate octane gas, if should run just like off the showroom floor. I have an F150 with GT500 motor swap. Kenne Bell supercharger, and other mods. I've put over 70K miles on the motor, tow my boat, haul heavy shite, etc. You wouldn't know it wasn't modified until you push down on the skinny pedal.

I got my local dealership to quote a windshield replacement last week. $1600! Safelite is $750. Same windshield....

If this "friend" agrees to pay $3K to have "his" brakes changed on "his" Range Rover, "his" wife makes the decisions in that relationship.
