Absurdly less expensive.

Forgot about that with Walmart/Target brands. That would definitely be cheaper than Amazon subscribe and save.

We have to use a special formula due to milk allergy and there is no knock-off available.

Haven't been in one in about 6 years. Prior to that I had about a 3 or 4 year streak going.

Well good luck.

I blew up today. The piss arse Walmart here sucks. After you check out, going out the door, there is someone checking your stuff to match you recite. You have to wait in a dam line to do this.

Sorry to hear that FF. Never happened to me at 6AM, but this pick-up has been nothing but great. I don't buy meat, poultry, pork or produce(anything I would normally pick) from them. For anything in boxes, sealed bags, cans, jars, bottles or such, I do the pick up now.
Actually have a great kid that sees my name and grabs my order if he's there.

Yes. We order our groceries from the app, pay for them then go pick them up.

I'm just saying that the reasons to actually go into a Walmart are continually decreasing.

Wal-Mart as a brick and mortar store has already peaked.

Think of how miserable it must be to be one of the employees having to put all the orders together. Ive seen them walking around with their monitors and like 8 baskets ant a time. Wal mart came up with this so people didnt have to go into their stores and could avoid the shite show. These peoples job is literally to shop for other people at wal mart.

Those people have the easiest job in the store.

They actually check? And if so do they go through your bags to check each item?

Yes, and no, they just look and give the impression they know what the receipt said and try to match it to your purchase.

I didnt say anything about the difficulty of the job. I agree its fricking easy.

But I use this service in order to avoid shopping in the hellhole that is Wal Mart.

Its literally their job. I just couldnt imagine wondering those aisles all fricking day dealing with that clusterfrick.

We have been using them for about a year. Once or twice a month.

As I am about to run out of something I cook with I add it to the next order. No fresh veg or fresh meat.
What I like is that I can read ingredients without clogging up aisles. And when I want to avoid certain thickeners in name brand products, I can usually find what I want when I'm willing to take the time.

When I specify no substitutions, they pay attention.

If I can save an hour's shopping time, and not pay extra for it, I win.

I use it 2-3x per month, and I'll supplement with Trader Joe's here and there. There is something very nice about being able to meal prep and order all your groceries online for pick-up. I normally do it at night while I'm watching a show or something.

I've had no problems with either the meat or the produce quality. It's been no different than what I would select for myself. Pickup is very quick.

My only complaint is that they tend to load the bags very light (one time I literally got every single item placed in a single bag by itself). I have learned not to allow substitutes for certain items that I'm particular about brand or type.

Otherwise love it. Will continue to use it.

Yeah, because spending more money at an upscale store for the same shite you can buy at Walmart is how everybody got rich, right?
