Does anyone speak British?

I sent an email to a colleague in England yesterday, asking her (no pics) about something she was supposed to send me. She replied, “yes, we are working on it.” I replied to her, “OK, it is just that Jabber (our internal instant messaging system) shows that you are all offline. I thought you might have all gone home for the day without sending me the file.” She replied “Yes, Jabber is pants and messing about.” <----the hell does that mean?
